sorry, but Bat Ye'or is speaking nonsense. It is very difficult to resist immigration pressure effectively without killing the would-be immigrants in large numbers. Thousand die each year trying to cros the Mediterranian Sea.

Allowing no immigration from Islamic coutries at all would lead to much worse. Also, don't forget that Bush recently called the Minutemen 'vigilantes', so he doesn't behave all that differently towards the immigration issue than his
European colleagues do.

Bat Ye'or simply took those things that would fit her thesis, and put them into a certain context, that doesn't mean that it is factually true.

What ethnic groups want to do on their own time, their own buck (or franc or kroner - oh EXcuuuuse me: Euro!) it THEIR business, but the public square and the public/taxpayer dollar/euro should NOT support islamicization.

And ethnic folks who are NOT yet citizens, and who refuse to assimilate should be DEPORTED.

YUP: deported. By the THOSUAND if necessary, and at public expense; (it'ds bre cheaper than keeping them on the dole for France and Scandinavia!).

I'd start with the ones in prison (70% of the prison population in France is Islamic!).

To some this might sound draconian, but deportation is merely sending someone back HOME.
