Look this has got to stop. How can the MSM shape public opinion with the bloggers revealing ever little piece of false reporting? It is one thing to claim power to the people, it is quite another for them to use it. I mean, come on, these people paid a lot of money for Ivy league Journalism degrees and letting a little thing like the truth get in the way is hardly using that investment to the fullest. I'm sure they still offer journalism ethics courses but they must be an elective along with Photoshopping 201. Guess we can tell which elective most students sign up for.

I noticed the US News photo when it originally came out...tire fires make very good photogenic smoke. I was surprised that more people didn't make an issue of it...however unlike photoshopping pictures or having civilians 'play dead' that photo isn't really fake. There was no attempt to portray the fire as anything but what it is. (Of course cover photos usaully don't have captions).
