Florida Official Having Sex Change

Bill Jempty tipped me to a story drawing local interest in Florida: Largo City Manager Steve Stanton’s announcement that he’s having a sex change. The St. Petersburg Times has the details of the story, none of which are particularly noteworthy in this day and age.
I did get a mild chuckle out of the juxtaposition of photos and advertisements, though:

He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama.
