Also, it&#039;s a myth that it gets hot in Germany during the summer. During the summers I was there, from &#039;96 - &#039;00, I rarely, if ever, felt the need for air conditioning. Average temps rarely got above the mid to upper 70&#039;s. We often joked about the &#039;few days&#039; of summer we actually did have.
