Its the icing on the cake. With them getting the "law of the sea treaty" though commity today. we are disolving our borders, and taking a giant crap on the dollar. I want AMERICA back. doesn't anyone care?
remember when kids fought for america in thier imaginations. How many kids that are soldiers today had gi joe? maybe that is the spirit we need in this country. the only glimmer of hope I see is that we are severly culling the herd of dangerous people willing to kill them selves in order kill us. We can have problems we don't need to go global.

I suspect the GI Joe movie is based on the US cartoon/comic series, in which the Joes were a NATO-esque force led by and mostly constituted by the US. Making it a totally multinational force is annoying, and arguably a ripoff of the similarly unrealistic (insomuch as the countries involved could never agree when to use the soldiers) Rainbow Six.

Now, since I wasn't expecting old-school Joe but the cartoon and comic GI Joe, I'm actually more disappointed in the apparent treatment of Cobra. Scottish arms dealer? What the hell? That's not Cobra Commander. (Man, way to get my geek up.)

Playing with dolls is gay to begin with--lets put GI Joe to rest and give kids something more objective to play with: toy guns.
