GOD PICKS BUSH

Via Drudge and the AP: Pat Robertson: God told him it’s Bush in a ‘blowout’

Pat Robertson said Friday that God told him President Bush will be re-elected in a landslide.

“I think George Bush is going to win in a walk,” the religious broadcaster said on his “700 Club” program on the Virginia Beach-based Christian Broadcasting Network, which he founded.

“I really believe I’m hearing from the Lord it’s going to be like a blowout election in 2004. It’s shaping up that way,” Robertson said.

“The Lord has just blessed him,” Robertson said of Bush. “I mean, he could make terrible mistakes and comes out of it. It doesn’t make any difference what he does, good or bad, God picks him up because he’s a man of prayer and God’s blessing him.”

Excellent. Now, if I could get God’s pick for the Super Bowl, I’d be set. (I’m guessing He’s not picking the Cowboys.)

What was God thinking when He picked Satan Clinton?

I think Clinton was like AIDS, sent by God to punish the wicked.

God told me he picked Dallas. The line will be Patriots by 6 1/2 but the Almighty says he has inside information straight from the locker room that nobody else knows that will make sure he's a winner. If he's wrong you get all the rest of the NCAA basketball season for FREE!

Got bad news for you zygote. God's a packer fan. There is no other way to even understand what happened last sunday.( Of course maybe he just wanted to stick it to the vikes crazy owner. With the Big Guy, you can never tell.)

Ummm, the Cowboys are America's team, not God's team! I don't think God really likes 'em much. He let that nitwit from Arkansas buy 'em don't forget.

As I look back I think that was the true cause of my unreasoned animosity toward Clinton. Every time he came on TV he sorta morphed into the other loud mouth from Arkansas, Jerry Jones.

God speaks to this man? That depends on whether God speaks to lying, moronic greedy little men or not.

When I heard this mentioned on the local news, my first question was "Why is this news?"

In other words, who is going out of their way to provide Pat Robertson quotes - especially one like this - to the world, and what is their motivation for doing so?

Robertson has a fairly popular TV show, so things he says get out pretty quickly. Mainly, this is just amusing although it's also a bit scary, given that the man has a large following still.

The 'boys won't make it out of Charlotte.

Ye-e-e-e-p. That kind of talk gives me the creeps. God's revelation is open to everyone now, not limited to His prophets like in the Old Testament. Sheesh. . .
