Graham Willing to be Veep

Dean Esmay passes along this message from Bob Graham:

As the field of Democratic presidential hopefuls narrows, Sen. Bob Graham — who dropped out of the race last year — said he would accept the No. 2 spot on the ticket if it were offered.

Dean is a bit skeptical, “But it’s not gonna be you, buddy. It’s gonna be Edwards.” While Graham seemed like a logical choice a year ago–if Bush loses Florida, he’s toast–Graham likely damaged his standing with his pitiful run at the White House.

Aside to President Bush: If you decide not to keep Cheney for some reason, I’m available. And I meet all the Constitutional requirements, too. I won’t even have to move to another state like Cheney did to qualify!

I, on the other hand, am not willing to settle for second place. The American people deserve the full force and fury of my innovative policies.

Sorry James, if Cheney drops out I want Condi. There's so many groups of people that would discombobulate.
