Greetings from Amsterdam
I’m blogging from Amsterdam, having settled into the hotel and gotten Internet connectivity. I’m a bit bleary eyed, as I only got about three hours of sleep. Even though the flight was undersold and Kim and I had bulkhead seats, it’s still rather difficult to get comfortable on an airline seat. One of the strange quirks of modern travel is that, as people get larger, plane seats get smaller.

I feel your pain. The inability to get comfortable plus the length of the flight gets me antsy on those trans-Atlantic flights.
