Seems they all go to news organizations dissemination of said reports. As such, I find this, "[B]ut Murtha’s statement was correct..." a bit of a stretch for two reasons. One, the quoted text you provide, "that U.S. Marines “killed innocent civilians in cold blood,” is a statement from a US lawmaker (and given the knee-jerk phrasing, I'd say sympathetic to Rep.
