Harrassing Interns Perfectly Legal!
A court has ruled that sexual harassment of unpaid interns is not a violation of Title VII because people who aren’t paid aren’t employees under the law. Eugene Volokh has more.
It’s also true that treating interns as slaves doesn’t violate the 13th Amendment since, technically at least, interns volunteer for their servitude.
