IIRC extending permanent most-favored nation trading status to China, a move I thought was premature, happened on Bill Clinton's watch. As the previous commented suggested, how soon they forget!

You mean to tell me that HRC is supposed to get all the credit for all that went right during Bills reign but no blame (at least shared) for something that went 'wrong'.
I am so glad to learn that our future Commander-in-Chief is so adept at accepting responsibility.
