Hillary Clinton Says Democrats Must ‘Get Real’

Hillary Clinton says all those Democrats voting for Barack Obama should “get real.”
Hillary Clinton, after suffering a 10th consecutive loss to rival Barack Obama in the Democratic presidential race, said “it is time to get real” about how the party can win the November general election.
The New York senator today sought to emphasize what she said are the main differences between herself and Obama as she faces a critical test for her candidacy in Texas and Ohio two weeks from now. “We’ve got to be focused on what kind of choice we actually have before us,” Clinton said in a speech at Hunter College in New York City. “It’s time we moved from good words to good works, from sound bites to sound solutions.”

“This campaign is not about a personality,” Clinton said. “This campaign is about hundreds of millions of Americans who are yearning for leadership again.” Clinton said she is better able to tackle economic and health-care concerns and assume the role of commander-in-chief in a dangerous world.
“We agree with Senator Clinton that there is a choice in this campaign,” Bill Burton, a spokesman for Obama, said in a statement. “The choice in this election is between more of the same divisive, say-or-do-anything-to-win politics of the past and real change that we can believe in.”
It should be an interesting two weeks.

Dear Hillary,
Perhaps you should get real!
I am a life long independent. I have voted for both parties, often in the same election, over more years than have been voting.
If you are one of my choices I will work my tail off to see that you are defeated. This nation can ill afford 4 years, much less 8 years, of your brand of leadership or experience (ruthless, self-serving, elitist & exaggerated).
Trusting you with my tax dollars or your finger on the pulse of the world is like trusting a 5 year old with a bowl ice cream for his little sister. We will get what we should expect.
So what exactly are Mrs. Clinton's accomplishments, if any? Mrs. Clinton sole executive experience was managing her husband's numerous bimbo erupttions. Mrs. Clinton claims thirty-five years of experience. Yet she has nothing to shoe for it.
While I often disgree with John McCain's wrong headed politics, at least McCain shown the ability get things done. Hint McCain-Feingold is law. HillaryCare is not.
Get real or get really? If you are against Clinton ,than focus on preventing spouses and children of presidents like George W. from running in the future. In many cases more than 70% of obomas votes come from cross overs. The falsehood that this will win those states in Nov. will be a future Playboy article. If its change you wish, try to get a white person or a jew into obamas trinity church, there not allowed. Get informed before you vote!
At least Hillary has been proud of this country for the last 26years. Unlike Michele Obama. see her speech she gave in Milwaukee.
Betty - that's not true - Mrs. Clinton made a very similar statement to Mrs. Obama's a few years back - she didn't even say she was proud of the US now - she said she hoped for what it could be in the future.
