Samuel Alito’s Paper Trail

Julian Sanchez, who is reserving his judgement on supporting Samuel Alito, is at least pleased that he has a paper trail.

Paper trails work both ways. Yes, they can be used to torpedo a nominee. But, as Sanchez demonstrates, they can also be used to defend against charges of extremism.

The dems are already talking about a long period of time will be needed to examine this candidate (read until the next election if they are allowed to get away with it)

I say gather up the comments they've already made and tell them to buzz off , they have already made their decisions. Give them 30 days or figure out the historic average and make that gospel. After that they can vote or not, but move it to the floor for a vote. I suspect Bill Frist's wimp days are over.
