		<description>The Ukrainian position is that they&#039;re just doing what they&#039;re entitled to do under their agreement with Russia.  And the reality of the Russian gas industry is that it&#039;s a Ukrainian gas industry.  That goes back to the 1930&#039;s.</description>

To be fair, it&#039;s not just the Russians either trying to make a quick buck or exploit the gas for political power - 80% of Europe&#039;s gas runs through Ukraine, who has stolen gas in the past (the reason why the Russians are cutting it off now is because they are claiming Ukraine stole a certain amount of gas again).</description>
