Just like the Clintons...

I've always considered Imus's ranch is a bit dodgy as a charity. He gets other people to foot the bill for his lavish estate, free servants, and a big tax write off to boot.

Even so, he still put his money where his mouth is. I don't defend Imus, but a vegan diet is not a terrible thing for children who are suffering from terminal illnesses. Was the diet supervised by a competent medical staff? Were their meds administered by same? That would explain part of the cost.

The other thing I don't understand is if it is a working cattle ranch, it should still be able to meet or exceed its expenses, to include hosting the sick children.

In that particular case, at least, it's not so much the Left but his wife that he's snuggling up to. Deidre is a vegan and Don has agreed, reluctantly or otherwise, to go along.

It’s also rather comical to have kids working on a cattle ranch and then serve them a vegan diet. After all, production of meat, dairy products, and leather are why people raise cattle. A ranch is a large operation if the only goal is to play with your pet cows.

This is an excellent example of precisely what I was talking about, when I suggested that Imus been trying to snuggle up to the far left for a long time now. The ranch being so politically correct, is but one indication of what I've been saying.

It amuses me that his attackers are from the left, and what defenders I have seen of him, are almost universally from the right.

There's a lesson there.
