INCOME INEQUALITY

Daniel Drezner has a long, info- and link-packed post on the topic of income equality. To greatly oversimplify, he argues that the poor is not a static class, that a rising tide lifts most boats, and that the rich are getting rich without harming the poor. (The long version is much better but, well, longer.)

About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and infant daughter.
