In my former profession, by chance I met Reed briefly, in the late 70&#039;s or early 80&#039;s... (Can&#039;t recall which station ran the show to be honest, now) and found him to be as large a person in person as you saw on film and TV.  After dealing with a lot of show-business phony types over the years, I found Reed a breath of fresh air. He wasas fun for real as he showed himself to be in public... he was in love with life, and he made that fun contagious. You couldn&#039;t be within 50 feet of the man and not smile.</description>
