Jessica Simpson’s Sexy Boots Video Surpasses Paris Hilton Car Wash Video

Jessica Simpson’s new “These Boots Are Made for Walking” video, shot to promote her role as Daisy Duke in the new “Dukes of Hazzard” movie, has surpassed the Paris Hilton “Carl’s Jr.” sexy carwash video in drawing the ire of whackos.

Move over Paris Hilton. Jessica Simpson is taking the carnal car-washing crown. Still reeling from the hotel heiress’ burger commercial in which she wears a skimpy bathing suit whilst sudsing up her Bentley, a radical Christian group calling itself the Resistance is protesting a similar scene in Simpson’s music video for “These Boots Are Made for Walking.”
Simpson, 24, covers the Nancy Sinatra song along with Willie Nelson for the upcoming Warner Bros. film adaptation of “The Dukes of Hazzard,” hitting theaters in August. In the video, Simpson is dressed in her Daisy Duke attire inspired by her “Hazzard” character, complete with denim short shorts and midriff-baring top. She struts around in a bar in red boots, gyrating, undulating and all-around sexing up the crowd of cowboys, including collaborator Nelson. It’s the latter part of the video, however, that’s drawing the most attention. She performs similar moves, but this time wearing only a skimpy pink string bikini while stroking the General Lee — and that’s no euphemism. She also sings about her double-Ds — referring to the Daisy Duke initials of course.
Website TheResistanceManifesto.com, trumpets, “SAD NEWS — Christian role model Jessica Simpson becomes Illuminati pawn.” The site is calling for an apology and a re-shoot of the lewd video. “It’s disappointing to have Jessica, a pastor’s daughter and Christian role model, join the ranks of the ’singing strippers’ such as Brittany [sic] Spears and Christina Aguilera,” says spokesperson John Conner. “She has one of the most beautiful voices, and is a very beautiful girl, but it’s sad to see her whore her self [sic] out like this … She took a classic like the ‘Dukes of Hazzard,’ and Daisey [sic] Duke, and turned her into a slutty, stripper with a fetish for old men.”
One must take these vitriolic objections with a grain of salt, however, since the site has an ulterior motive: spreading allegations that the 9/11 terrorist attacks were masterminded by the Illuminati.
While their political views don’t necessarily obviate their opinion about sleaze–ad hominem is ad hominem even when criticizing nuts–taking their views with a grain of salt may well be best. Further, while the original “Dukes of Hazzard” was certainly family friendly, it’s rather hard to argue that Catherine Bach’s “Daisy Duke” wasn’t played for sex appeal.
After careful analysis of both videos, I would say Simpson is sexier but Hilton is sluttier. You don’t have to take my word for it: The Paris Hilton video and the Jessica Simpson video are both available online.

The video's easily one of the silliest things I've ever seen, though admittedly the 2" x 3" display isn't conducive to sexiness.
