It’s official, General James L. Jones, chairman of the Atlantic Council, was appointed this morning by President-elect Barack Obama as the 21st National Security Advisor.

Obama must have some plan to neutralize Jones by keeping enemies close.
Given the fact that Obama pals around with terrorists and his allegiance to the US is questionable, it is imperative that we don't rush to judgment about this pick.
The guy is full of nice rhetoric and empty gestures--this pick should be interpreted as just another example of Obama's vacuity.
Triumph is correct about Obama's desire to "keep[] enemies close," which is why Obama will be announcing Triumph's own nomination to head the Department of Education later this week.
