The mind boggles, as if Tommy Chong were joining the Carter Administration.

Now I love Tommy Chong, particularly for his principled stance in the face of targeted persecution by the horrible Pennsylvania USA Mary Beth Buchanan (and, in one of the worst decisions Obama has made so far, she's still there). But if you've listened to either of them speak on matters of substance, it becomes readily apparent that Tommy Chong is no Kal Penn. Also seconding the likelihood of Hannity, et al., using the 24 clips, even if as "satire."

That's gotta be a pay-cut! Always admirable to see people going into public service, even if he is in PR now.

Leaving aside the nastier bits in “Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay” ... those guys are like this generation's Cheech and Chong. The mind boggles, as if Tommy Chong were joining the Carter Administration.

(This leads me to believe legalization will happen in the next 20 years.)

Kal Penn was also a terrorist Ahmed Amar on season 6 of 24.

Anyone want to bet how long before Sean Hannity/Rush Limbaugh/etc. start playing clips from the show and implying this is proof that Obama can't be trusted on national security issues?
