To think about rebuilding a city that is entirely below sea level and subsiding ever deeper as time goes on is absurd. The cost to rebuild the city will no doubt be in the multiple billions of dollars. Why not spend the money that would be thrown away at the next hurricane and relocate the city population and let the city revert back to what mother nature has always intended it to be; a swamp.

N.O. MAYOR AND LA GOV. FAILED LEADERSHIP

People are crying out for the federal government to help New Orleans because the local leadership has failed. Local leaders did not implement a plan because there was no plan on what to do when the levees would fail.
