KERRY’D AWAY
Don Sensing discusses a fight between John Kerry on the one hand and Walter Chronkite and the Kennedys on the other, over the use of really ugly windmills to generate energy. He has pictures (of the windmills, not the Kennedys) and everything.
What amuses me, aside from the windmills themselves, is that Kerry thinks this is the equivalent of the Manhattan Project. I mean, wouldn’t a Manhattan Project involve, I dunno, the creation of an exciting new energy source rather than a plan to use a really, really old technology–13 years from now, no less?
