Congrats to Kevin Drum, who celebrates his third blogiversary today.

Despite getting just a six month head start, Kevin was already a heavy hitter when I started OTB on 31 January 2003. He’s had 22,722,572 unique visitors and averages over 44,000 a day according to SiteMeter. Those are impressive numbers, indeed.

His old site, CalPundit, is still getting 608 visitors a day and he hasn’t posted there in 17 months!

About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and infant daughter.

I saw the headline in my rss feed and for a nanosecond I thought he was convicted of something!
