Kind Words

My thanks to all for the kind words on the passing of my father. They mean a lot.

I’m back home now and getting back into the regular groove.

I drove my dad’s car up yesterday afternoon and evening, as my mom has no use for it and we could use another vehicle with a back seat (mine’s a two-seater) with the little one. My intent was to stop overnight in Bristol but my wife was concerned that I’d get stuck in the impending snowstorm, so I drove straight through in record time, stopping only twice for fuel/restroom/coke-and-candy-bar breaks. That was dad’s preferred mode of travel, so an especially fitting use of his vehicle.

That’s a fine way to travel, James. Your dad was a wise man.
