		<description>Dick Cheney was himself the subject of a lot of fanciful cocktail party chatter last year, focusing on the notion that Bush would replace him on the ticket even &lt;i&gt;after&lt;/i&gt; the convention.

I&#039;d say the Cheneys are having some fun with the people who were floating all that talk before.</description>

Was this is just the occasional incident of fanciful cocktail hour conversation that made it into the press, or was this idea intentionally floated for any short term political purposes?</description>
