Inspired by some discussion at Invisible Adjunct, OTB, and some other places that’s been going on in some circles of the blogosphere, John Lemon waxes prolific on the vagaries of the academic job market and why everyone should quit whining about it. Starting with this post and working up the page, is a discussion that is den Bestian in length, but presented as a series of short bursts throughout the long evening.
About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia.
