Media: Bush a Terrorist; London Bombers Not

Prominent economist and political commentator Julianne Malveaux told Sean Hannity yesterday that the United States is “a terrorist nation” and that “George W. Bush is evil. He is a terrorist. He is evil.” Meanwhile, the BBC removed the word “terrorist” from a story about the London bombers, for fear of appearing judmental of those who murdered 50 or more of their countrymen and wounded hundreds of others.
Julianne Malveaux: USA, Bush Are ‘Terrorists’
Semi-regular USA Today columnist Julianne Malveaux said Monday that President Bush is “a terrorist” and that America is “a terrorist nation.”
In an interview that began with Malveaux accusing U.S. troops of “beating” terrorist suspects at Guantanamo Bay, the controversial author and economist told ABC Radio host Sean Hannity: “Terrorism in the United States is as old as we are. You want me to give you a litany of terrorism? You want me to start with what’s happened to the Indian population? You want to go on to what happened in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1921?”
“C’mon now, Sean,” Malveaux told Hannity. “We are terrorists.”
Asked point-blank if the U.S. was a “terrorist nation,” Malveaux shot back: “Oh, Absolutely.”

“You know they weren’t there. I know they weren’t there,” she told Hannity. “George W. Bush is evil. He is a terrorist. He is evil. He is arrogant. And he is out of control.”

The BBC has re-edited some of its coverage of the London Underground and bus bombings to avoid labelling the perpetrators as “terrorists”, it was disclosed yesterday. Early reporting of the attacks on the BBC’s website spoke of terrorists but the same coverage was changed to describe the attackers simply as “bombers”.
The BBC’s guidelines state that its credibility is undermined by the “careless use of words which carry emotional or value judgments”. Consequently, “the word ‘terrorist’ itself can be a barrier rather than an aid to understanding” and its use should be “avoided”, the guidelines say.
An interesting juxtaposition, to say the least.

I'm sure Julianne was just having one of her grand malveaux Tourette's episodes.
But don't question her patriotism or suggest she represents mainstream liberal thought.
When are we as Americans going to get smart??? How many people need to die before we put an end to this rhetoric from bottom feeders like J. Malveaux?? How many terrorist attacks are people going to suffer before we go right to the source of those attacks. The entire Muslim community must be taken to task for the murderous deeds of those who live anoung them, And, people like Kennedy, Reed, Lehey, Dean, M. Moore and all those traitors to the American way of life need to be force ably calmed up or put in prison where traitors belong. It just blows my mind that we all, as Americans, sit by idle and put up with these kind of people under the guise of "political Correctness". When are we going to get smart???????

"Forcibly calmed up"? The Soviets had "clinics" where they did just that to dissidents. Wish you were back in the USSR, Herb?
The positive longing for totalitarianism is what amazes me about post-9/11 America. Kooks like Herb disturb me more than kooks like Malveaux because Herb's party is running the country and hers isn't. (I wonder if she self-ID's as a Democrat, or whether they're too centrist for her?)

Michael Moore cheers on the terrorists in Iraq, calling them "Minutemen," but don't you DARE suggest that Lefties are like him!
Herb makes a comment (perhaps serious, perhaps out of anger), and immediately, the Left claims that this is the "party of Herb."
Sorry, Anderson. You don't get to tar w/ that brush, unless you're prepared to admit Mikey Moore as one of your own.
It's that consistency thing.
Show me the Moore quote, & I'll cheerfully denounce him for saying it. (It says a lot about the Dems' failures as a party that a nobody like Moore is the public face of the Democrats in anyone's mind.)
I really don't what Anderson and his Lefty's think or say. No doubt he is another one of the "pacifist" that have a great desire that the terrorist and those who want to take our country down are successful.
It's to bad that we have "that kind" among us.
