I am lost for words...
I can only think of the agony that little girl went through at the hands some one who she trusted and loved....My heart goes to the father and the two sisters who have to live with this for the rest of their lives.....as for her...in my mind, a mother's love for her child should go above and beyond all ill and satanic thoughts and impulses....

I can understand having mental illnessess but chopping off your own childs arms is pathetic. She knows what she did is wrong look at her picture she is smiling. She is just plain disgusting. This is so sad all the way around. It is beyond my comprehension that someone could be SO mentally ill and noone realize how sick they are. Are they such good actors that they can appear normal when need be? If so that suggest they know something is wrong and are trying to hide it, which also suggests they know right from wrong...if so they are completely responsible for their actions. I am angry. I am angry with Child Protective Services for not removing this baby from home that eventually became it's deathbed. I am angry at the baby's father...because as a parent it is your resposibilty to protect your children...even if it means protecting them from the other parent. Everyone let down this poor, innocent little baby. I have an 11 month old grandson and I cannot imagine how horrific an ordeal that baby Margeret went through, at the hands of her own mother.
As a society we better get our shit together and watch out for the ones who cannot defend themselves. The elderly, the disabled and our children. If anyone who reads this suspects someone is being abused, DO SOMETHING about it.

The hateful comments left regarding this tragedy only go to show the lack of intelligence on the part of the people posting them. This woman is obviously seriously mentally ill and the system failed both her and her baby. My mother suffered from debilitating mental illness and I thankfully was rescued from the situation when I was only a few months younger than the child involved in this heart wrenching story - but mental illness is not a choice. My heart breaks for this child but this woman does not deserve ill will from ignorant and uncompassionate people. Educate yourself on the horrors of mental illness and you will know that this woman can never be tortured worse that she already is - inside her own head. And when she receives medication and therapy and realizes what has actually happened there will be no end to the suffering that she endures. And if you take comfort in that you should seek a mental evaluation of your own. I hope that none of you have children - if they suffered from mental illness I shudder to imagine you dealing with it in healthy manner. This is such a sad story.

I think that this poor woman needs help. I think she has pain inside that none of us could ever understand and I hope that she heals mentally, and then proceeds to ask the Lord forgiveness. The child is now with God and is safe.
As for the people who wrote their nasty comments they ought to read the horrible things they wrote, wash their mouths out and also ask the Lord for forgiveness.

If you spank your children they call it abuse. But when someone does something like this and uses the excuse they are depressed they get out of it. what is this world coming to?? the sad thing is that the government is letting it happen!!
