I know &quot;some&quot; Bates boots are made in the USA but I don&#039;t know if the military boots in the award are or not. 

As for other &quot;domestic&quot; boot manufactures, I was able to find one pair of leather Red Wings with 400g thinsulate that are made in the USA. All others are overseas and the same goes with Rocky, Lacrosse, etc.. That said, like many many other things awarded by low bid, Chinese items are becoming the norm.</description>
