MORTAL HUMAN

OTB has moved up, for a day at least, into the Mortal Human category at The Truth Laid Bear Blogosphere Ecosystem, albeit just barely. Of course, Operation Codemuffin has been at #1 for nearly a week now after only a week of blogging, so it’s all relative.

About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and infant daughter.

congrats on the promo, I can't think of a reason why you wouldn't stay there.
I've been wondering why no one has mentioned codemuffin's impressive (and questionable) defeat of Glenn.
I myself am waiting to fall off the large mammal stat any day now, this is perhaps more than I should be.

I feel your pain: ObWi just cracked the Playful Primate barrier, and now I'm looking at what's needed to go farther up. We'll be lucky if we only plateau there. :)

Excuse me, misspoke: Large Mammals, not Playful Primates. Dreaming the improbable dream there...

Congrats.

I managed to devolve back to the be King of the large Mammals after another one days stint amongst the Primates.

I have actually managed five consecutive days as a playful primate, though I could be outta there any day now.

One thing I noticed that seems to have changed my fortunes for the better, as far as the ecosystem goes, is that I blogged through the holidays consistently. I seem to have permanently gained about 20 positions as a result of that. Well, as long as I keep blogging consistently, anyway.

Heh. Operation Codemuffin has now demonstrated exactly why I don't link to TTLB or the Ecosystem (I mean *besides* that it's a big slutty cover for Bear's inability to just blog like everyone else) - the thing is quite probably broken in all manner of ways, and there's no way for anyone to tell.
