MUSIC GENRES

Norbizness apparently doesn’t like rock music very much, as he’s come up with categories for virtually all comercial rock music that he names after either excrement or body parts associated with same. Michele is apparently amused by this, has created some categories of her own, and threatens to continue doing so throughout the day.

About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and infant daughter.

I promise, however, to stay away from excrement names.

You misunderstand. I do like some of that shit.. er... effluent. Every good LP collection should contain at least 40% toxin. I did stay away from progressive/pretentious rock (picked up by Michele) because it's my secret shame (i.e. I own every single Yes album).

Ah. I think I have that one Yes album popular when I was in high school (901264 or similar numeric?) on cassette somewhere.
