I don't think Hilary could do worse than Bush. He has sunk us in such a hole who knows how long it will be before we pull out of it. Clinton was a goof when it came to Monica Lewinsky everyone knows that. He was a dummy. But how many people out there have had marriage problems with the same issue. Granted it was an embarrassment but not near as big as claiming a country had nuclear weapons and knowing they didn't and sending Powell out to be the puppet to pitch it. Poor Powell. Now he would have made a wonderful President. Wish he hadn't made the promise to the wife not to ever run for presidency. I think he is truthful and honest and I also think that is why he could not continue to serve under Bush.

It's to bad that the right wing Republicans can't see it or get it. They still think that having sex is something they would never do. YEAH RIGHT. Well, while you are screwing yourself blind, please stop long enough to look in the mirror. Bush, has cost you everything. Your freedom, your childern, your life style all the while he has lost nothing. While Gov of Texas he openly supported the death penalty, late term abortion and the list goes on. May your party be impeached.

Are you folks really aware of what will happen to this country if Hillary Clinton is elected president? She was the driving force behind Bill and looked what happened to us...the only reason she married him was because she saw the charisma and his ability to hood-wink people. "I didn't have sex..." Yea, right! Morality means nothing to those peopleâ¦the Clinton's... They will say and do anything to get what they want. Under her this nation will become the laughing stock of the rest of the world while every pissant country has their hand out.

here we go again... politics of personal destruction. this is a serious problem. We have real problems with our healthcare system, uncompetitive education, environment, energy policy and costs, infra-structure, a costly war, and much more. But, all we hear about is right to life, pro-choice, religion, judges who are not agreeing with ideology of ultra right. I sure hope we can work on our problems and not continue to divide us with personal attacks on any politician. It seems that this movement should work on Tom Delay, if they have to shoot someone down.

Let people alone until they declare and then work on issues. This is all so depressing.

I had the great privilege of working with both Clintons from Nov 1991 thru election day 1992. They are both brilliant, caring people who see government ruled by special (rich) interests as a threat to those of us making up the middle & poorer classes. Is there any doubt that Shrub and Jeb are puppets?

Senator Clinton is certainly not the best candidate in 2008 for President but who would people prefer? Another Bush....i.e. JEB? That family has screwed up America enough.
Now as far as the Senator running and winning, I think not! There has got to be some middle of the road man or woman who can appeal to many of us out here that are completely and totally turned off by the political partisianship that BOTH PARTIES are quilty of!
GET OVER THIS HOWEVER BECAUSE IF SHE RUNS, SO BE IT! VOTE AGAINST HER! One thing is for certain, if she and Jeb Bush are the two candidate...or even Senator Frist, I WILL VOTE FOR SENATOR CLINTON!

Hillary just got a boost for her 2008 Presidential
The "STOP HILLARY NOW" campaign has begun. This will do nothing to stop her, and at best will give her a small boost, at worst give her a huge boost.

I agree with Stormy Dragon above, but I also think that any failed concerted effort here could help her chances for President in '08. She's pretty much a lock for the Dem nominee regardless. If she wins big next year as I'm sure she will, she will probably be the next President (God help us).

"Anybody but Hillary" is unlikely to work any better than "Anybody but Bush." You can't win a political race by simply opposing the other party; ultimately you have to be able to provide a positive argument for your election, so that people have a reason to support you instead of just a reason to oppose your opponent.
