Newly Conservative Lesbian at CPAC

A bit ago, I stumbled on a folder with a large Nike-style swoosh with the letters “LIMBAUGH” in it and the title “The Importance of Branding.”

As if to illustrate this, a Cynthia Yockey just walked by Bloggers Row and left off business cards promoting her (new?) blog, A Newly Conservative Lesbian.  I’d have guessed one of those facts by appearances and another by the venue.  But, certainly, that’s a brand I’ll long remember.

About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and infant daughter.

A conservative lesbian...how does that work? She sits around convincing herself that if she got equal treatment, straight marriages would explode?

Presumably by 'conservative' she means 'fiscally responsible', which, as we saw from Reagan and W, is marketing only fools would believe.

I am 55, which has reduced my hotness considerably, thanks for asking, but I think I deserved better than "uh ... well," thank you very much.

By "conservative," I do mean fiscal conservatism because I finally got it that there's a tipping point between the amount a government takes in taxes and the ability of an individual to be able to support the causes dear to his or her own heart, which a government would not, and to succeed as an entrepreneur.

Straight marriages seems to blow up all on their own with no help from me -- y'all really have that one covered.

Two posts about gay marriage at my site that I recommend are here and here.

I have some important points to make that conservatives need to grasp in order to understand Obama. The short version is that he is a sociopath, in the clinical sense. Every single thing he says and does is for the purpose of gaining power and control over people and things. This explains why he has so many conflicting positions on almost every issue. If you would like to know more, go to my site here, here and here, or here and click the category for "Barack Obama."

I hope my posts about Ann Coulter and Roseanne Barr make you smile.

Y'all are welcome to come on over and set a spell. I'm putting you on my blogroll today and I hope you will add A Conservative Lesbian to yours.

I made a comment that was grabbed by your anti-spam defense, perhaps because I linked to a number of my posts. Please check and see if you want my comment posted after all.

I will add you to my blogroll today and I hope that my blog will earn a place on yours very soon.

Thanks for your post about my blog!
