No News is News

Smash ponders why the media are making a fuss over a “new” memo from Abu Musab al-Zarqawi to al Qaeda leader Usama bin Laden when it appears to be identical to one widely disseminated back in February.

His commenters posit that it has to do with the collective IQ of the journalists in question. I’m guessing it has to do with all those terrorist names sounding alike. It gets hard to keep them apart. And, really, these memos all say the same thing anyway:

We must kill the _______ [Americans, Zionists, Infidels, Jews, other Muslims who think slightly differently than us]!

Blah blah blah. Until God chooses us as martyrs.

[Choose one] Praised be Allah/If Allah wills.

So how does one tell a new one from an old one?
