No One is Going to Save Darfur

The Editors of the New Republic have come to a depressing conclusion: “It’s becoming obvious: No one is going to save Darfur.”

Of course, that’s been obvious to most of us for several years.

About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and infant daughter.

Granted, James...
But I think this needs to be pointed out;

How would it be, now, were President Bush to have actually gone in there, with the troops required? Would this now be the place the Demorats would be screaming for us to pull out of?

Exactly right. We do these things when they're doable; this one wasn't.

>We do these things when they’re doable

Oh yea, you must mean like in Iraq. That has worked out well.

>Would this now be the place the Demorats would be screaming for us to pull out of

Bithead how old are you? Cause anyone over 14, except perhaps Bush, would be a little bit embarrased to talk like that...

Actually, Iraq IS do-able.
As in... still is.
Assuming, of course, we actually have the will to see it through. Given the constant screaming from the left, it would appear BinLaden and was correct about are not having the will. As you repeatedly demonstrated.

And No, I happen to be 50. On the other hand, you seem to be making a judgment based on all the fourteen yo's you know... who are Democrats.
