In what election Anjin, did Clinton get 50% of the vote? Since you seem such a historian, what role did Ross Perot play in getting Clinton elected? Like most liberal, you seem to have a selective memory. I'll bet you would recognize Obama in any crowd, including the Million man march standing next to Farrakhan and you.

Maybe in the end, all Washington politicians sound the same, look alike, say the same thing, and are forgettable when presented in person.

What did you expect when you met him: a purple glow around his physical presence, a halo over his head, him levitating over the crowd, He is a rank,inexperienced politician, for heavens sake.

Not to defend the Out-of-Touch, but part of the issue may be that people always look different in person than they do in photos. Pictures subtract the third dimension, essentially "steam-rolling" the face. That's all that being "photogenic" means, anyway: "Looking good with a flattened (2-D) face." Perhaps Obama is really ugly in three dimensions, or something.
