Obama World’s Unanimous Choice

I took advantage of a brief respite from an international security conference I’m attending in Colorado to write “World Prefers Obama: It’s Unanimous” for New Atlanticist.

Polling by Gallup shows that not a single country in the world wants John McCain to be president. Interestingly, the one that comes closest is the only one that matters in this context.

About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and infant daughter.

Let's assume that this is true. It would be because they want us to emulate them.
What do the people who vote with their feet say?

Perhaps Obama will unintentionally stem the tide of emigration?

Is it too late for Fred Thompson to get in the race?

Floyd, I believe you are right. There will be people leaving. In droves. Unfortunately it will be the wealthy who leave as they can afford it. Not wanting to pay the way for those who have not managed gain monitary success. That, and those who prefer liberty to equality.

And we should lament the departure of these assholes who love their money more than their country because?

HAhahahaheeheheeheeheehee... What world do you live in Zelsdorf? Obama wants to take us back to the days of the Clinton tax structure...

THE HORROR, the horror...

not even back to the days of the Reagan tax structure, much less, shudder... the Eisenhower tax structure....

Yes, indeed, the Bush tax structure has been so good to me...

Fortunately for us the world doesn't elect our leaders ... Americans do.

Because dissent is the highest form of patriotism?
Or is what the left told us just a couple years ago, untrue now?
