Olmsted in Iraq
Army Major Andrew Olmsted headed to Iraq last night. Godspeed, indeed.
While the Army made him shut down his own blog, he’s blogging his experiences for the Rocky Mountain News. They have a profile on him here.

James,
Guten tag. I'm in Leipzig waiting to reboard the plane for the last leg of my flight to Kuwait. Just getting to Iraq is quite an experience.
Thanks for the good wishes. Two minor notes: I'm no longer in the Reserves, having returned to active duty earlier this year, and there's no 'a' in Olmsted.
Editor's note: Errors corrected.

I liked the comment that we are a military at war, if not a nation at war. It says a lot.
