Osama bin Laden Found by Geographers

A team of UCLA geographers have found Osama bin Laden.

They’ve published an article in the MIT International Review scientifically narrowing his locations to one of three houses in North West Pakistan!

Amazingly, this was not the journal’s cover story.

About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and infant daughter.

Um, today isn't April 1st and Mardi Gras is next week, so that leaves me searching the calendar for whatever foolishness day today might be.

It is a surprisingly interesting little read. I wish I were close enough to IC folks to know how close this mimics approaches used inside the USG to find him.

I think that geologists are the most likely to find him but not because they've analyzed satellite photos.

That's complete BS. I saw him at Zel's Beef Sandwiches just today. Dude needs a shave, though.
