Christina can certainly sing, but I'd rather she not sing my national anthem.

No doubt she can sing but I personally don’t like it when someone tries to jazz up our national anthem. If you have a good voice which she has a great one, the song in its traditional style will make you sound great or even greater.

Dodd, thanks for posting these - it's strange to see Billy Idol doing acoustic. He's got a nice voice, which usually is partially drowned by the instruments.

Wayne, I actually had a more or less traditional arrangement by her in here at first but then I found this one (there are several of her doing the anthem at events on YouTube) and went with it instead just to spice things up (and because I liked it). She does just fine, as you can imagine, singing it "normally."

I caught Idol at Sturgis couple\few years back. It was thundering and lightning out and he gave a pretty good performance.
