Do Bass players EVER get excited?

A few names leap to mind.
Fran Sheehan of Boston, at least the few times I've seen him play.

Ditto Mel Satcher of Grand Funk, though in a power trio known for high energy, it's kinda hard not to react.

Louis Johnson of the Borthers Johnson.(He of the 'thumb slap' sound)

Actually, Dodd, that would have been "Star Trackin' 76" Yep, that's it. Wow. I can't believe it's still available anywhere. And don't even ask me what happened to my copy. Do Bass players EVER get excited? Mike Mills of r.e.m. does. Embarassingly so sometimes. John Entwistle? Not so much.

I had a copy, too, back in the day. It got lost somewhere along the way. Likely a girlfriend's place, or something. Some of the very worst editing I've ever heard, trying to make all that fit on one LP. Do you know, they're still getting $10 for that Ronco thing even today?
