OUCH

Juan Cole finds in this story more confirmation that marriage ain’t for him:

She told the court in Lam Dong, Vietnam, that he slapped her after she refused to buy him more wine and then threatened a divorce.

The defendant said her paediatrician husband’s marital affairs were the cause of their disagreements.

Nguyen decided to hack off her 38-year-old husband’s penis while he lay in a drunken stupor in bed.

Personally, I’m just amused that this took happened in a place called Lam Dong.
