Our Dogs Are Fat, Too
Michael Fumento has a piece in the American Spectator reflecting on the fact that 35 percent of our dogs are either overweight or obese, joining our human population in this condition. The fix, not surprisingly, is more self-discipline, less crappy food, and more exercise. Then again, you knew that.
This photo, which Michael captions, Ever hear the expression, “As funny as a heart attack?” is nonetheless quite amusing:

If you’re morbidly obese, it probably helps to have a sense of humor.

One of my favorite quotes:
"If your dog is too fat, you're not getting enough exercise."
"Our" Dogs Are Fat, "Too"? Hey speak for yourelf there, James! I'm not fat and neither are my dogs.
My little angel is just big-boned, dammit ...
My weiner dogs are not overweight by any reasonable measure.
That's probably because someone else makes their choices about diet and exercise for them.
Though, if the Establishment gets its way, that will soon be true of me as well.
Incidentally, where can I get one of those tee-shirts?
