I've seen it called a war cry, a squeal, a yelp, and the "political suicide happy dance." The "duck" reference also puts me in mind of the old Bugs Bunny-Daffy Duck cartoon where Daffy jealously attempts to upstage or sabotage Bugs' onstage performances so he can get all the applause. Finally he swallows gasoline, gunpowder, enriched uranium, and then a lit match. Anyone who's seen the cartoon will surely remember the punchline.
