I wasn't exactly Paige's biggest fan, but I agree that what she does on her time is her own business. As for whether or not I'll watch the show anymore now that she's gone, the show's been going downhill for the last few seasons. If there's anyone who needs to be brought back, it's Vern and Lori. They were just about the only legitimate designers on the show who didn't ruin every room they stepped into. Anyways, Paige can make all the sex videos she wants - a right I hope she exercises now that she's no longer an employee of TLC.

I was very unhappy when I read that Paige will no longer be on Trading Spaces. I think she is very real, and very, very big part of the show.. I will no longer watch Trading Spaces if Paige is not a part of it. I think a BIG MISTAKE HAS BEEN MADE!

Susan above says "Anyone who says they will stop (watching the show) is either a fool or a liar". Very erudite, I must say. I was a huge fan of Changing Rooms, the BBC show TS is based on. CR's host, Carol Smiley, was around a lot longer than Paige. When she left a year ago, they retooled the show--just like they are planning to do to TS. And after two episodes of the new version, with the new host, I never watched it again. The whole experience of the show was ruined for me and a lot of other people by Smiley's departure and the alterations made in how the show was produced. I assure you, Suse, a change of host makes a big difference for a lot of faithful viewers of any show. I doubt I'll watch without Paige, either.

I watched Trading Spaces in spite of Paige being on it and am pleased to find out I won't have to be subjected to her nauseatingly, fake perkiness.

I doubt very seriously anyone is going to stop watching because Paige is no longer going to be on the show. I have a hard time believing anyone watched the show solely because of Paige being on it.

Anyone who says they will stop is either a fool or a liar.

I tend to think that TLC is using the so-called sex tape and all the other little piccadoles that have been going on with Paige as an excuse to fire her. Trading Spaces has already lost a couple of their best designers; why not get of our popular host!!! That should sink us but good. If Paige's husband Patrick isn't concerned with what's been rumoured, then why the hell should TLC? Good luck with all you want for your future Paige - I for one will NOT be watching TS anymore .

The firing of Page Davis is one of the most rediculous faux paux in TV history. She was the person, that was the glue that held the show together, and worth watching. Her perkiness, and antics were great. I hope you Exe's have enjoyed your susccess, cause it will never be again. I for one of millions, will never watch it again, without the Person Who Got You To the Top.

I will miss Paige on the show. I believe you need a narrator to help move the show along. As for Doug and Hilde making the show a success, what crap! In the beginning, the show was about making nice rooms that people would really enjoy. Those two just seem to go for the shock value. They do what they want to do, not what the homeowner would like to have. Hilde would never put straw, feathers or flowers on her own walls. When she's on, I don't even watch the episode.

Paige is the only thing that made the show what it was. She was the sweetest. This show will never be any good with out her. It will not show in our home anymore. Paige will only go up with her qualities. God Bless you Paige

I love Paige. She is the only reason why I watch trading spaces. The show will be nothing without her. So maybe she did a few things, she probably shouldn't have done. We all make mistakes.

Ridiculous,
Its the only word to describe the decision made by TLC to FIRE Paige from trading spaces.
My wife and her sisters as well as her mother all watched the show and Paige was a large part of the formula that made the show a sucess.I say that in past tense because TLC has lost a whole family of viewers, we will all be more than happy to continue watching Ty on Home Makeover on ABC instead and leave trading spaces to the Traitors that made this pathetically stupid decision.

The reason I watch Trading Spaces is due to Page. Like I am going to put hay on my walls??? Come on get over it. She isn't a major part of the show except to help move things along and help tell the story. Page if you read this. I think everyone is missing the big picture here. I don't dispute that TLC fired Paige because of the rumors of a sex tape. Has anyone seen this tape? Anyone? Thats what I thought! It's a rumore people. How would you like it if someone started telling around that there was a sex tape on the internet staring YOU? Then you showed up for work to find that they had " made a decision to take your department in a new creative direction." You know there isn't any tape. The people that started the rumore know there isn't any tape, and infact no one has actually been able to produce the evidence. But Oh well, to bad for you, you're out of a job and your "good name" is smeared. And as for the person that made the comment of Hilde being part of the shows success, Are you as nuts as Hilde is? Have you lost your mind? I have never seen a more tastless, clueless person in my life. If she had any part in the success of the show I would have to say that it's for the same reason we slow down to see a crash on the side of the road. Morbid curiosity! Well I think Paige got a bum rap and I wish her all the best. Ry
