Am I annoyed that I wasn't invited to join Open Source Media? Not really, since I probably would have turned them down for the same reasons James Joyner did:I eventually got an offer from Roger Simon to join this venture

Its my understanding they are backed by venture capital. If that's the case, their goal is clear.

Haven't I heard that company name elsewhere, long before this? I just can't remember where.

Pajamas Media was a better name. Maybe it had issues too, but better.
