Another WordPress Convert

Steven Taylor has more or less moved PoliBlog off Movable Type and onto WordPress. He was finally pushed over the edge by “a massive porno-comment spam problem.” I hate it when that happens.
About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and infant daughter.

I'm on Blogger at the moment, and while I can get it to do what I need, so much of it needs to be kludged together, that I'm starting to get a little annoyed.
James I'd like to get, perhaps offline, your impressions about the advantages of WordPress...
and some of the requirements. Blogger after all may have stunted by growth... and distorted my vision of what a blog shell should be.
