A CNN Breaking News alert informs me that, “Pharmacy that supplied medicine for polo ponies that later died says the medicine was incorrectly prepared.”

That may actually be more of an understatement than you know, James... last word I got was that the horses that doed were given some kind of weird vitamin cocktail made by the French, called 'Biodyl', I think it's spelled. The FDA as I gather it has banned that substance for use and sale in the US. By definition, thereby, there was no proper way to administer the stuff, at least in the legal sense. So, story may be around a while.
I will confess, I wondered about that story, though, in combo with the story about the missing vials of equaine virus

This story has been front page news in part of Florida for three days. The horses died about 15 miles from where I live.

My father owned racehorses. Those animals are given medications to maintain them for racing.

I didn't know Veterinarians got their meds from such a place...makes sense but I assumed they put in a order from the med company and kept their shelves stocked. Huh.
