Porkers are bad but Entitlement Boomers are real killers. I'm 46 so it won't be long before I get to enter the government's good time goodies program. Since I don't have children myself do let me know whose child will be responsible for providing for the rest of my retirement life the financial means for me to maintain the lifestyle I have grown accustomed, this way I can send the monthly bill directly to him/her or whatever gender it decides to be.

I'm looking forward to the luxurious life of living in Liberalville. Today's Boomers get around $27,500 per person so with inflation I figure around $95,000 should do it when my time comes, please do insure your children get good jobs as I don't want to sacrifice a moment of the Happy to which I am entitled.

Thanks in advance.

The Rs are all talk. They had their opportunities to do earmark reform, but they only made the problem worse. Assuming the incredibly unlikely chance that the Rs were to gain control of the House in 2008, where do you really think earmark reform would lie on Speaker Boehner's agenda? My guess is maybe one spot above lobbying reform--but they'd talk about it a lot.
