Prince Bandar Declares War on Washington

The headline is from Sam duPont at Foreign Policy magazine’s Passport blog. It seems that His Royal Highness Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz of the House of Saud has painted his Airbus 340 blue and silver in honor of the Dallas Cowboys.

About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and infant daughter.

A good friend of mine ran the Saudi embassy (as a Marriott employee) when Prince Bandar was ambassador, and while I never met him, my friends frequent references to the Prince indicated that he was a man with good taste and an insightful mind. This only goes to support that contention.

On the down side, he's friends with Jerry Jones (currently, the sole remaining member of that organization who needs to be fired), so maybe the above opinion is unfounded.
